All things considered, Nick Pustay is a decent enough guy. He is a screenwriter in Los Angeles, having graduated from the USC School of Cinema-Television, and before that, from Miami University. He won several major writing awards at both institutions - but you'll have to take his word on that. Born and raised in Ohio, Nick is an avid (rabid?) fan of the Cleveland Indians, often losing sleep over their place in the standings. He frequently reminds people of other people, but always "in a good way". His favorite writers are Tobias Wolff, J.D. Salinger, Russell Banks, Steve Zaillian, and Raymond Carver...all of whom he has planned to acknowledge in his long-rehearsed Oscar speech. He feels very lucky to have met Liz Allen.

Name: Nick Pustay
Title: Writer
Where did you move from to get in the movie business?: Cleveland, Ohio
What restaurants have you worked at?: Busboy at Damon's Rib House. I don't eat ribs anymore.
Is the movie business what you thought it would be?: Nope.
Why?: Ageism. Agents. Buzz.
Most regretful thing I ever did with my hair: Started losing it. I mean, what was I thinking?
The song currently running through my head is: The Monday Night Football theme.
I refer to a sweet, carbonated beverage as: Coke. Whatever brand or flavor, I tend to call it Coke.
Stupidest song lyric I've ever heard: Any song that rhymes "love" with "fits like a glove".
Someday I aspire to...: Read regularly. I've got bookcases stacked with books I've never read. Is
there anything more depressing than an unread book?
One thing I'll never do again...: Cook salmon at home. Wow, that's stinky.
All of my living room furniture matches: Only in the sense that it's all pretty cheap.
When someone sneezes, I say: "Watch it there".
